webley axsor

Recommended Posts

I have been trying to find out about my gun which is a webley axsor in .177, I cant seem to find out much about the company because Im guessing they are discontinued, on the side it says 'made in sweden by axsor' but it is called a webley axsor which is also confusing.

I was also wondering if I could get a barrel brace for it, but cant seem to find one, if I cant I guess I will just have to get milling on a piece of aluminium!,

would be great if anyone can shine any light on this!

Woodsy, do you have any pics? If it's the two shot shuttle mag, then it's based on a rifle originally made by a company called Axsor, known as the Axsor Gemini. As far as I know it was sold as the Webley Axsor and also as the Logun Axsor. One of the very early PCP's, and utter simplicity. An aluminium tube tank, a simple spring and hammer firing mech and a barrel strapped on top. I have had one in .22 for several years, and despite the odd problem with the mod adaptor coming loose (I guess this is why you're asking about barrel brace?) it's been a reliable and accurate tool. The trigger's nothing to write home about, sloppier than a large bowl of custard, but that doesn't seem to affect the accuracy. It's certainly bagged many bunnies for me over the years.

Get some pics up!

As for the barrel brace, if you make one I'd love one too! ;)

hi matt, sounds like mine but mine has the 8 shot mag in .177 , I have seen a couple around which I think are the same but not many in .177 amd mine even says its a 22 on the plate!, and yes the adaptor on the end of the barrel which joins it to the air cyclinder is loose, hense me asking about the braces but cant seem too find one for my gun, but it is getting on a bit now so im not surprised, and I will try to send some pics if I can work out how to do it!

thanks for the feedback, John. and Im trying me best with the braces!

hiya mate, ive just sold an axsor gemini and the mod adaptor quite often came loose on mine when i first bought it.

if you take the dust plug out of the filling port, and look inside, there is a small allen headed bolt that goes up into the barrel part from the end of the resevoir. find the right size allen key, take it out VERY carefully, add a small amount of lock-tite and refit.

bob's your uncle, fannys your aunt, its fixed!

mine lasted 12 months without coming loose again, then i sold it and still no problems since then.

hope this helps buddy!

regards, brett :)
