Guest eastmids Posted July 13, 2011 Report Share Posted July 13, 2011 . i said why wouldnt diggin men pay 500 for line bred diggin dogs cos they pay it for fen dogs...... just a fought i,d say its something to do with the matching up, prize money / the potential to earn in the feild like track dogs horse racing etc edited to say im glad we all moan about the price of pups , if we didnt 250 300 notes would be a thing of the past in no time, i have a hard time trusting lads that want that kind of money ...i wouldnt pay that money for a pup out of any dog on this site. Thats why im not bothered about getting a pup just yet untill iv seen how things are done. Get to know who`s who in the terrier world.Just because they go on this site does not make them good terriermen.Lots on here would not know a good dog from a chicken sandwich.If a pup is free it does not make it a good pup.The top lads,with the best stock,do give pups to very close friends and would never dream of selling.BUT a lot of lads like to jump on the top lads band wagon by saying "we dont charge for pups because we are in it for the dogs not the money" ,when really there stock is NOT worth selling !!!!.Tread carefully and do your homework. i think the nail as been hit on the head here! I've got to say the wife goes f****n bannanas when i give my pups away when she's doing overtime keeping me in my digging habit lol. Quote Link to post
