scalesntails 118
Have one on my bullx and its not heavier than the leather one on my salukix. I put it one the salukix to see what it looks like and apart from being far too long it didn't look bad at all. My only regret was getting the dogs name on the collar as when the dog dies I wont be be able to use the collar unless I name the dog the same. I honestly think these collars will out last me. Bootsha 1,306
Well I just gotta put my 2 penneth worth in here. I was always a traditional leather (collar ) man myself, but after a seasons work, proper work with all sorts of teeth marks cuts and abrassions on them, it soon works out quite expensive to replace them. I bought 1 1/2 SS collars back a few years ago and would never use anything else now. One I had to replace when my young dog managed to slip it off over his head overnight in the kennel and had a good chew on it, and even he didn't chew right through it, it's still useable, loks like its been through a rotovator, but it still fit for purpose, and that creature demolishes all sorts with his pearly whites . Not only top drawer equipment, but a real good bloke to deal with. I will, obviously, expect a MASSIVE discount on the next order, ahem, ahem . B Quote Link to post
rapidjenky 97
thanks for the comments guys nice to see everyone happy and getting on well lol. like i said they dont even look that bad when the dogs in front of you and the saluki will grow abit yet as she is still just a pup, so hopefully she will grow into it abit better. if she dont ill buy a new one, for the price its not going to break the bank. dident want one to fit her perfectly now and grown out of it in a few months time theres plenty of room for her to grow. i wont be running the saluki anyway untill she is older. i think everyone agree`s that the gear is top quality and thats what this thread was all about. thanks StrongStuff im happy with what i got.
