Millet 4,497
I have almost the exact same set up as you and i use the same pellet's with good accuracy..i zero the rifle at 35yrd's but make sure they is not a drop of wind when zeroing and also dont fill the rifle over 160 bar and dont let it drop below 140 bar..the reason for this is that is where they hold there most consistant power. Also 35 for the .177 AAS410k, as to the grouping, you should be looking for a fingernail/thumbnail ( 5p coin (good)/ 2p coin (acceptable)) on a 5 shot group.. should be manageable with a bipod Edited July 12, 2011 by Rommels Quote Link to post

The grouping you want to aim for is around the penny or 5p mark i am pretty confident that the scope's are set when i can put 8/9 out of ten shot's in that size target.. Quote Link to post
zini 1,939
Hi mate, For ther optimun zero with the combo that you are talking about depending on it being set at around 11.5 ft / lbs you will need a 36 yard zero (33 metres) metric. This will enable you to stay within a 2.5cm kill zone with a point blank range of 9 to 41 yards or 8.2 to 37.5 metres. For a easier zero range to cope with when out in the field use the following: 35 yards or 32 metres which will enable you to stay within a 2.5cm kill zone with a point blank range of 9.2 to 39.9 yards or 8.5 to 36.5 metres. andyfr1968 772
All good advice above but as you said in your OP, it's down to personal preferance to a large degree. For me.... .22, 25 yards. .20, 30 and .177 35. I'm an old fashioned git and I can't get on with mil dot rets or all these other ladder this and thats Makes my head ache!! Litterally Have a play on the range and see what you feel best with Cheers. Edited July 13, 2011 by andyfr1968 Quote Link to post
