Insurance- Well £10,000,000 cover is £10,000,000 cover whoever insures it.How much you pay for that £10,000,000 cover is your choice .In this case The Lloyds syndicate underwriting the policy is the same syndicate and policy that insures the Welsh Clay Target Shooting Association -the governing body for clay shooting in Wales.

If you want proof visit www.wctsa.co.uk/Aboutus.aspx and click on insurance and compare it with the policy details in the insurance page on the website www.gun-club.co.uk advertised on this forum.

Claims- The Insurer has the right to take over the defence of any claim

See condition 2 page 6 www.gun-club.co.uk/policy1112.pdf

In practical terms they would do exactly that in the event of a claim except for possibly minor claims which are by definition minor and of little significance.

A downloadable incident form is available which helps in the recording of the facts pertaining to any claim.

If anybody requires any further information please pm me as I will not be drawn into any slagging off discussions.

As far as supporting the voice of shooting anybody can make a donation (however large or small)to the organisation of their choice which is a different issue to insurance which is the topic of this thread.
