The two I have now are Lima, a first cross Deer/Grey bitch, two year old, and Delta, Beddy/Grey X Deer/Grey - Whippet/Grey, six year old today !!! Cheers. Quote Link to post

lurcher330 2,297 Posted July 11, 2011 Report Share Posted July 11, 2011 this is a question for the 2 lads that have 11 and 9 dogs ,how do you keep all your dogs worked ,i just say have the work for 3 dogs never mind 11 ,this is not a dig just intrested Well Rocky im not working at the moment and if it was'nt for the dogs i would go off my head but i am out at least 4 or 5 nights out a week lamping during the season 1 of my lurchers is coming 9 now so he is starting to slow down a bit and i dont give him the big frezzer filler anymore so i got a young wheaten greyhound bitch around febuary to take his place but he still gets out after rabbits and fox if thats all im after and sometimes my son comes out with me so he slips 1 of the wheaten x s and slip the other 1 when doing the big lads and i will bring anyone of the lurchers with me when i go digging and thats when i bring my glen x patterdale bitch and the lakeland dog hopefully they both get a look in and the glen bitch is a hard fcuk so needs long lay ups after a dig and i got a red lakey type bitch there a few weeks ago that i will be hopefully digging with in the winter but if she does'nt work out for that she a very good busher that i work with my whippets every day along with my old russell bitch 10 year old now but still bushing away at a nice pace and i have a patterdale pup that i will hopefully be digging with aswell come after xmas and the staff x i used to use him as a strong dog he 's getting on now aswell 11 years old but a bring him bushing with me but either way they all get out to do something everyday even if its only around the waist land at the back of my that holds an abundance of quarry Quote Link to post
