Laughing, your not joking mate, But on the serious side, you must be remember these are not toys, be careful, check first, this is how airgunners get bad names.

Hell, I hope your hand is OK, I always discharge the guns before I do clean them, magazine out, shut the breech and dry fire... Easy to forget if you are in a hurry I suppose. I always clean teh guns when I get home, not when in the field though, anyways hope there ain't too much pain and that the worst injury is to your pride!

Hi Mac.

Sorry to hear about your hand, hope all is well again soon.

Took some balls to admit this on an open forum, and is a good reminder to us all how important safe gun handling is.

Some of us had it drilled into us in the services, but still, negledgent discharges did occur, not often mind you.

No one is an exception to the rule, could happen to any one of us.

Mate of mine shot one of his toes off in Northern Ireland in the 70s, 7.62 resting on his boot......never did it again

Get well soon.

I think you have learned your lesson, (the hard way).

Update from RVI, He's going in tomorrow morning for an operation to remove the pellet, direction of the pellet is a bit of problem, hopefully not to much damage to the tendon's, get well soon bud !

(now you know how a bad shoot on a rabbit feels, clean head shots kill, body shots hurt !!! Vizlauk.
