tag 29 Posted July 10, 2011 Report Share Posted July 10, 2011 take your time mate to choose , its a big decision , i'd be asking myself what quarry the dogs gonna be used for, over what terrain , and then start looking to see if you can get someone to take you out ( a big ask) depending on quarry !! to see what certain breeds are about , persionally ive always had dogs from pups , its a long waiting game but the rewards are well worth it , not only by the bond between dog and owner , but even the mistakes made are priceless lessons learned for future reference all the best on your quest ..... tag Quote Link to post

As for size, you could have anything from a big 26" Dog To a small 22" bitch. My mate has got a lovely little bitch, 3/4 Grey 1/4 Saluki put over full whippet. 23" tts, Acceleration is outstanding and top speed certainly ain't slow. Stamina to burn.
