jocky 198
hi all, it it posable for my s410 to loss power, there does not seen to be any air leaks. but the last 3 weeks it does not seem to be killing the rabbits like it did. hiting them clean in head at about 30 yards but some are just shaking there head and gone. AngryHan 4
Has the zero remained the same? With a loss of power, the zero point of the rifle would change. Apparently the S410 isn't regulated, so maybe you've passed the sweet spot of the power curve. Have you kept the rifle topped up with air? Quote Link to post

AngryHan 4
I dunno then, could be the pellets you're using? If you have access to a chronograph, you could check the rifle power but aside from that, I'm out of ideas Quote Link to post

zx10mike 137
if your grouping has not changed and your zero then i would assume you do not possess a crono.the only things left are shit or bent pellets or you not judging the wind and cliping rather than clean.a gentle breeze will shift an air rifle pellet no probs.out of curiosity the rabbits have not invested in kevlar helmets and coverd them in furr as this too would cause this problem Quote Link to post
pestcontrol121 11
As said get a chronograph then you know what your rifle is doing Quote Link to post

zx10mike 137
unless you are really into it before buying bear in mind most good gun shops can crono it for you to see how it performs pellet after pellet Quote Link to post

clubshot 22
What Calibre ? Had a shooter with same problem Was using .22's and pellet was just dropping on Target - Not enough power / Energy to Kill BOB/R Quote Link to post
Millet 4,497
If you say they are shaking there head's.. that usualy means a shot to the ear...reset your scope on a calm day and fire a lot of shot's into a small grouping..if you still keep doing it you might not have the rifle mounted or lined up correct.
