bertie 0
My ex never used to get involved, she realy used to hate me going out shooting. Well that along with the fact she realy used to hate me! On a good note though, the lass i've just started seeing wants me to take her out to shoot some clays and see if she likes shooting! ( her choice not from me asking! )
Tallyho 181
when i got with with my old man about 5 years ago, i didnt have a clue about any of the hunting, i didnt even know that terriers or lurchers were worked,, but now i wouldnt look back or change anything, i absolutly love it, for me this is how my life was ment to be, i got ferrets, terriers, and lurchers, we do a lot of the hunting together, but the only problem we have now is arguing over who is gona stay in to babysit while the other takes the lurcher out for a quick shine about
shell 42
Yeah my husband gets involved with working the dogs with me and the little one. Same with Molly, once he's done the housework he can come out with the dogs. (yeah right - housework?!!!) Shell
stubby 175
my other half is prob more rural than me as she's a northern lass with farming parents, left the country life in search of exitment in the city, to find me wanting a countrylife ok, there were a few years in between she has no worries on dead rabbits, loves her cooking(as I do too)and has no qualms on whatever I do(yes, the sun does shine outta my arse) nope she wont read this, so it's not for brownie points, but those of us that have missus like this, will all say "she's one in a million"

Aled 523
Wife doesnt mind me going out shooting and fishing but has no interest in coming with me. Has agreed we'll have a dog soon but has refused point blank! To allow me ferets! But i do get peace to shoot and fish, and she does eat some (although not all) of what i bring home. Cheers Aled
Simoman 110
My wife was not into country sports when I met her 12 years ago, she came foxhunting and minkhunting to form her own opinion and enjoyed the minkhunting but has no interest in hunting. She supports me and lets me get on with the dogs/ shooting but just isn't interested in hearing about it. Which is fair enough

wren 8
Followed hounds on foot (wagging school mostly) as a child, grew up, moved to a town but still had terriers. Got running dogs and got well addicted to them, husband had a sharp learning curve and did brilliant, but wouldn't go near the horse! He now does more than me, but still enjoying it 35 years later. No doubt we'll still be working dogs and ferrets when we get the pension
