It can work well if you're breeding from a line that you know inside out and know that is as healthy as can be but it can cause issues that have never shown up in the line before. Unless you're trying to 'set' a particular trait that this line excels at I wouldn't risk it, find a good stud dog. Quote Link to post

ATB..B It looks like he is asking about breeding the bitch with her father which would be inbreeding. Any negative traits could be doubled just as well as any possitive.
