hi all just started up again after a long break due to family life, got myself a new bsa r10 and now i am out looking for new permissions, while i am trying to struggle finding a bit of land if anybody wants any company ect give me shout as i am itching to get into the open air again.

i will be out this weekend going further out towards the a1 near clumber park as i cant find a damb bit round sheffield and rotherham area. i have got my basc insurance aswell. i forgot how hard it was to get my first permission but when i stop for the past year and half i had to give up my land and now he got somebody else doing it for him

never mind i will find some soon i hope so anyway. dont mind a drive if further out like mansfield chesterfield or doncaster ect..

Keep at it mate,its not easy round our way dude,but you will get some,might be worth not mentioning air rifle to start with,lots of farmers still regard em as toys,quite wrongly of course,just say you are looking for some shooting,the offer of a bit of work in return goes a long way sometimes too,I wish you the best of luck with it mate, let us know how your getting on after the weekend

found one spot near dinnington he is gonna give me a ring when he cuts the rape field and let me shoot in the fields. nice chap he does his own ratting with the air rifle but said i could sort out anything else but he wants me to leave the rats to him so cant say no realy. just have to wait and see if it pays of now. doing a drop round holmefield this weekend down the back end of chesterfield got about just over 30 to pop into. every weekend make a map and just keep moving out further will travel upto an hour out to find a good spot so got a lot of land to cover yet...

Unbelievable!!!!!!! no wonder this site gets so much stick from others,why cant people sort out their petty rivalries in private? well dont involve me please... have got a nice bit of permission now. next to a lake ahhh its great i got around 400 acre 60ish wheat and rest is rough cattle ground split into 15 fields in total... and just got a yukon nv add on for a bargain 140.00 with separate yukon illuminator also. gonna have a long one next friday night, cant wait...
