all the best dogs I've seen are owned with people who don't work. I work in the oil industry as some folk on here know which means I do some crazy hours which means the dogs suffer. All the guys I've

I've seen the best and worst of dogs in both camps Baw. What your saying is that if your unemployed you 'should' have more time but I really don't think thats always the case. A good dogman is determ

You certainly have more time to work and train a dog when you're not working, or retired like me. But I don't know if this makes a dog "better" or not ? One thing for sure; when you get home about five in the morning, soaking wet and cold after a nights lamping in the winter, it's much nicer to have a hot bath, breakfast and then away to bed, than going straight back out to work !! LOL !!

Cheers.

Lol chart mate, been there in my younger days, thinking at work that has to be the last, only to do the same the next night lol.

The man who puts the time and effort in should have the best dogs but it doesn't always work out that way ,Sometimes between shifts we struggle to give the dogs fifteen minutes at the start and end of the day where as a guy no working has all the time in the world but its what you put into those fifteen minutes

the majority of best dogs i have seen have all been owned by people who dont work. what a dog catches at the end of the night/day/week counts and for those that say it dont, imo they have never owned a good dog.

dogs that do little work always look impressive as they put everything they got into each run. heavily worked dogs are steady.
