ferret hair loss

hi, just got 3 ferrets, one of them has a real bad hair loss around its backk end, and a little bit on the other ferrets two. i think it could be a mite problem, what could i use to get rid of it. Or has any one got any other ideas what it could be?

no mate just cat food , just got them yesterday..

It wouldnt hurt to shampoo them in with a flea shampoo

As said could well be normal summer hair loss, but as they are new ferrets, worth shampooing etc.

Give them a wee clean wi some flea shampoo mibbe frontline them!! just a general clean up realy !!

i think you can get flea drops and mite from a pet shop or better try your vet. ATB With that
