If you have wormed with the right type of wormer: Drontal Plus or Milbemax, and you have tried him on various foods, there could be an underlying cause. Not common in lurchers, but worth checking this out: pancreatic insufficiency:http://www.vetbase.co.uk/?vets-article_url=Pancreatic-Insufficiency-in-Dogs&content_type=info&record_id=99

There could be other causes as well. If the dog has no appetite then the vet is your next call.

I'd rather have a decent dog that was a good eater and good doer in general than an outstanding dog that picks at its food, eats little and has to be coaxed to eat. Had dogs like this in the past and it did my head in big time.

if the dog is happy in himself then i wouldn't worry bout it, if he dont eat what you give him in 10 mins lift it , try it a few hours later,,you stressing bout his feeding is probably causing stress in him at the same time, leading to a self fulfilling loop, dont worry bout it too much, never had a dog starve himself to death yet, although wished some of the sooners i had in the past would have,,laugh.gif
