dogs got a sore abdomen

Recommended Posts

hello all, my dog this morning was yelping when i touched his stomach area just in front of his back legs, he was fine last night and im 99% sure he hasn't eaten something he shouldnt. anyone had this happen or have any ideas as to what it might be?

he's nearly 2, he's fit (or as fit as he needs to be in summer), i will take him to vet if he's no better by the morning but thought id ask on here first as my vet doesnt seem to like us much and i avoid taking him unless i need to.

had he ran hard yesterday? could be a muscle strain but could be a whole lot more serious, just keep an eye on him if he starts to get pain or dehydrated then off to the vet

no, as i have had this happen before on the bank, hooked my retriever on a hair rig before :icon_redface: , now i always make sure what i use goes back in bag or in bin and on this day my rods were already made up in the bag, didnt lose any rigs, and they went back in the bag with same rigs on so i didnt get any new rigs out at all.

no he's eating like ahorse still and nice solid stools. just noticed it when messing about with him playing, if you try and pick his back end up of the ground he whines, or if you touch him firmly around there
