runforyourlife 361
nice goats mate... Do you have to buy food to feed them? And that climbing frame is smart, do they use it?
Millet 4,497
One went to play but the other was hanging of the back of the brown one! Once we had freed it and got them to their encloser, i gave him a bolloxing .. i would keep well away from livestock especially dark coloured lamb's till you think the dog is trust worthy.. but from experience i have found once they have a go they can never be trusted agian. fcuktheban 140
don't they faint if you clap your hands or something odd like that? or am I thinking about something else?? I can see it now Rob walking around in a field with goats clapping his hands at them, nothing happens so he turns around to leave and gets a good thumping on the ass. I can't stand goats my brother had a rotten pair, you would have to hold up a plastic chair to keep them from buting you anytime you went outside.
B.P.R 2,798
My dad got a couple of Pygmy goats years back to keep the grass down. They ate everything apart from the grass!!!!

The dog were stock broken years ago. Have to be with the ground i hunt. More sheep than grass....(and he sees lambs nearly every day of his life, while they are around, lol) He was confused i guess, as they are not dissimilar while being carried to a few other things they already run. Told once and thats him...And once he has the farmyard smell.... Same as chickens and hens, once he told for killing one on a farm he never has since. Yet still does the phesant.. And they all play all day long now, its funny to watch. Especially as the goats come out on top because the dog know they cant bite back.... So it was stock broken years ago and spends all it's time around sheep and lambs but it got confused? I'm confused ... You've banged on before about your dogs being 100% around stock, and in fact every chance you get you take a dig at me about mine ... no they're not "proper" workers but they get out and about for some fun - that includes the fens, and some lamping and regular mooching. The lurcher was never properly stock trained - I've always held my hand up to that, it was my mistake entirely; she's never showed interest but I've just never taken the chance because I know I failed her on that. The whippet is fine, and Millet can attest to that 'cause he's seen him run. I had chickens in my garden over a year ago, and neither dog touched them. The lurcher might not be broken properly but I can say that neither of my dogs has ever had any stock of any kind in it's teeth. I love how you take the piss out of me but you make excuses for yourself. You pompous cock.

I love how you take the piss out of me but you make excuses for yourself. You pompous cock. Thats good that your dogs dont kill chickens..( i dont even know them, and have never called them, a dog is as good as its owner needs it to be) If you have heard a CWD and then a goat when being man handled, you would know what i mean.(just didnt want to say it out earlier, didnt think there was need to) Just been in the farm yard earlier(rileys, you know how many sheep are there) walking around the pens. If it did get livestock then there would be no place for it, as you saw that when bronco did it. I said earlier that i was glad you circumstances changed and you could now get out more.. I'm glad for your dogs. You just seemed to take it the wrong way. There were no excuses, thats what i think he thought, but he got a good scruffing for it and wont do it again... sorry for any offence caused.

runforyourlife 361
p.s. He for some reason which i can not give, has started to take a disliking to labradors. Not fighting with them, but growling and not being friendly. He is fine with other dogs. It strange and rather embarassing..
