I know it looks terrible mate but i'm sure he will make a decent recovery, my wee lad opened up his leg from groin to toe inside, all the bones, ligaments, tendons etc showing and the muscle ripped. Couple of months on and he's strong, fast and doesn't know it happened. As long as your dogs has not done too much ligament/tendon damage, he should heal well. Good luck mate. rocky1 942 Posted July 7, 2011 Author Report Share Posted July 7, 2011 well just pick duke from the vets , he known the wear and just feel tied and drowsy ,well the very best of news he will make a full recovery the vet said because in was it was straight down the muscle and not across with was easier 2 heal ,i have been woried sick all day and expecting the worse ,he got stiches inside and out they put a drain the vet said should make full recovery in no time well thanks for all the surrport and nice comments,thanks gaz Quote Link to post
