Red Kite?

I was driving over the Black Isle (Highlands) today and saw what I thought was a Red Kite, it was a large BoP with a definate forked tail, does anyone know if they are in the area, if not what could have it been?

Yeah i reckon so as they have been spotted at the Isle of Skye.

if it looked like this then yes it is a red kite 2nd pic is from my garden its not very good but i see this site every day

I saw Red Kites just outside Brora last August,so it probably was.

Martin can you remember where about outside Brora you was when you saw them?

fletcher when we are fishing up that way we see loads,as soon as we cross the kessock bridge right up to achnasheen at least half a dozen each time
