I rang up about a litter of pups yesterday and they were first cross collie greyhound X greyhound which i still racing will these dog be any good for hunting or just be track runners

They'll be anything you want them to be ; just depends what you want them to do and how much work you are prepared to put into them, and what your expectations are !!

So there 3/4 breds and the sire or dam is a greyhound that is still racing?...i cant see a problem

if the dog is in the right hands mate and reared entered properly i dont see how there should be any problems day time or on the lamp.

Pups are going to be 3/4 grey 1/4 collie, bred from a 1st x collie grey put back to a racing hound. . . . . . .

 

That's a pretty standard/traditional breeding for a hunting lurcher mate, i wouldn't worry.

You should talk to some different boys; maybe boys that actualy have a clue !! LOL !! Or else maybe think of getting into a different hobby. Anyhow, you're doing the right thing asking questions, rather than just jumping in and buying a pup ! Good luck.
