chartpolski 23,664 Posted July 6, 2011 Report Share Posted July 6, 2011 I allways thought the reason we ran hares when we do was because, in the spring and summer hares are usualy mating/pregnant and the crops are to high; and in the autumn and winter the hares aren't usualy mating/pregnant and the crops are down ? Saying that, I remember a half grown leveret being run in mistake for a rabbit in the last lamping comprtition, and that was in November !!! As for fitness; the buggers allways seem fit to me !!
