fcuktheban 140
are u sure one of the staff didnt rehome her im sure she in a better place now than a cats and dogs home If she was stolen what makes you think she would be cared for at all? If she is able to breed then that's probably why she was taken. Who knows what type of place she's in now? Plenty of chav's out there would try to work a dog, find it's no good and either cull it or leave it in the field. Better to find a place for her that is safe instead of taking her Quote Link to post

rob190364 2,594
the previous owner might have nicked it back!!! I know I would if I got my dog taken off me! If your dog was starved you shouldn't be allowed to have dogs My link Jesus, it amazes me how gullible some people are! They put that it was staved, skeletal etc. etc. so everyone thinks what an amazing job they'd done at bringing it back to full health and how horrifying it is that someone has taken it. Some of them may have been abused, but I can 100% guarantee you that when they take on a dog they assess whether it needs more than £120 worth of treatment and if it does then it'll be curtains for the dog! Don't be under any illusions that dog/cat shelters like this are anything other than a profit making business. I'm not saying it's right to steal a dog from them, but if it's been stolen by someone who is giving it a decent home, whether working home or not, then I hope they never find it Quote Link to post

Go and do some time at an animal shelter - Maybe Many Tears in Carmarthen? - and see for yourself. You think they need to make up stories of cruelty? You don't know sh!t! The only think you can 100% guarantee is that you are an idiot. Quote Link to post

The only think you can 100% guarantee is that you are an idiot. I used to walk dogs for a shelter a few years back, and yes there were a few cases of cruelty, really awful stuff.....but, I would say a good 85-90% of dogs in there were in perfect health when they arrived. And I have to say, there was a hell of a lot of lurchers going through that place every week, lurchers and staffys made up about 50% of the dogs they had in there. They never told us where the lurchers came from, but I did think it was strange at the time I must admit. I went there for about a year and go to know the management there quite well. They treat it like a business because that is what it is to them. They would rehome dogs but when the person got the dog back, if there was an issue and it had to be returned they didn't refund any donations, not even to their own staff. I know what these places are like because I've been to them....so don't tell me what I do and don't know unless you know me, which you don't! Quote Link to post

Perfect health doesn't mean ready to rehome. There are vaccinations, neutering, microchipping, and not forgetting simple things like erm....food! You can't compare council run shelters to an animal rescue such as Bath Cats and Dogs. I stand by what I said - you don't know sh!t! Quote Link to post

Wasn't council run, in fact it's one that's not that far from where you're from...but whatever, quite frankly I couldn't give a rats ass what you think. You keep bleeting on about how good they are and one day if they take your dogs off you even though they're perfectly healthy and well looked after, just because it happened to chase a hare then we'll see who's defending them then won't we 1 Quote Link to post
