If this pick had been taken in summer then the coat would have been sleak and shiny and she would have had 'Tufts'. Millet - Reds can be without tufts when they have their winter coat. I don't think there are any greys on Brownsea island. Brownsea and the Isle of White are the only two places in England, south of Anglsey where there are Reds. The pic of the Red you took in northumberland. It wasn't around the Lambley area was by any chance? Cheer's for the info.. ..the picture i took was around 40 mile north of Lambley as the crow flies..that is if the Lambley you mean is near to haltwhistle..
