can a lurcher jump 6ft fencing

Interesting fact.....The Chair at Aintree is the tallest fence standing at 5ft 2"....................some 'horses' fall you know.... :whistling:

my old dog could climb chain link and squaremesh runs had to roof hers.   but she could clear 6ft with the wifes cat in her mouth hanging by its tail

6ft isnt that much trouble for a decent sized Lurcher my 23 inch bitch will do 6ft no probs

some of these lads have world beaters the record for a cleared jump is 68" some what short of 6' :thumbs: :thumbs:

I seen that too........wasn't a thl lurcher though so it doesn't count...... :laugh:

No probs, my mate had a whippet that could clear yes clear a large gate no probs. The only time mine would push off a fence was if it was a solid one but double barbed wire, 6ft, done them regular.

Pmsl ok I've never actually measured them, they maybe only 5ft lol but that whippet cleared a double top rail gate, I know, I was there lol :tongue2:

And incase you haven't noticed, they are caring someone lol. What is the record for the puissance(spelling) 8ft or something

To be honest mate am not saying it cant be done......i mean my Lab can clear 5 bar gates too and he has landed on top of deer fencing once and flipped right over....... :icon_eek: But i just think that saying a lurcher can clear 'with ease' a 6ft fence is quite a feat.... :thumbs: To be fair i dont see many 6ft fences around where a lurcher would be working for people to know they can do it 'with ease'........interesting post though..... :thumbs:

Lol lab, I used to have 6ft wooden fencing in my garden and the dogs jumped that no probs. Put back feet on it but they didn't have to, just did. A lurcher would out jump a fat lab no probs :thumbs:
