i think that the amount of bad dogs about these days is down to the fact that there are so many bad dog men about. imo the quality of dogs has changed over the years and not for the better, the true lurcher man is as rare as a good dog these days.

well after twenty odd years in the lamping game im thinking of giving up for two reasons the first is way cop are cracking down getting beyond a joke was out the other night up hexham way had not even got out to lamp was on way when cops pulled me and my sixteen year old son over and tryed to have me dogs lamps and car took of me was stuck at side of road 2o mins while they fck me round and searched us and looked up what offences i could be dunn for what a fck on and secondly ive over last two years bought countless lurchers of dog lads and you can say more fool me and you right but i take people at their word and ive paid by being stung over and over a gain paid over two grand in last two year and got nowt to show for it to many con men and make quick buck lads in game now whats happened two the good dog lads never thought i would ever consider packing dogs in but this ban and the way pigs going on is getting worse and cant afford to loose car and get fines just now all see how it goes and make mind up soon

stig mate got pup in now mate and trained some very usefull dogs in before my wife aint in the best of health and i do all shopping and kids take lot of time up as well i as ive said before been daft buying in older dogs just trying to cut corners and save time and yes i admit being lazy c**t at times trying to buy ready made dogs in but in the 20 odd years ive been poaching ive only got took to court twice and its just ahazzard we all face iknow that its for me more the fact id rather give dogs away then the cops take them and im on bones of me arse now and just say afford to get away with them so just say if iwas unlucky to get caught and loose me car and dogs for 1 me wife would be stuck in and we fck for transport and cant afford now to start allover again but i still love me poaching and night out with the lads

I bought a dog of here 300 on trile only ever been doubled up and fuk me he has done everything single handed, you only got yourself to blame for being stung to many times, real dog men carnt give up its in there blood. Easier ways to get rabbits than looking for short enough fields in July with dogs. If you've been doing this 20yrs you'd know Hexham is now one of the worst places to lamp as the coppers are clued up now & will try & nab you. Blowing 2k on shite dogs is ridiculous, if you had've taken the time to run a couple of well bred pups on they could've been shaping up into handy animals & unless you travel I doubt your dogs see anything near the numbers that the lads down south see. I'd say wrap in mate so its one less lamper in the north east
