I went off on a tangent,, I use small nuts for stops on fox snares, I normally either position them were I want and give them a tap with the hammer, just enough, the threads only need to bite slightly to prevent the snare locking... Or you can control it more precisely, using a vice, either way will do.. Quote Link to post
