asbo93 10
Well its that time of year again . But this year some big improvements have been made and hopefully lots more birds are going to be reared . I know i post this every year and it doesn't seam 2 minuets since the last one but just thought i would show a few pictures on how things are going . For the people who have followed these threads and my THL pals know it all started in my house with 2 incubators and me having sore fingers manually turning the eggs . But things are looking up we now have a big self turning incubator a Hatcher and a new pen . would love to hear of anybody else who does this sort of thing and share any photos you may have i used to work on a pheasant farm for 3year, rearing roughly 40 thousands birds and about 20 thou partridge, (french) got some pictures some where on my phone il try get em up. Millet 4,497
I hatch a few quail on a small scale and them red water bowl's.. that is if they are water bowl's in the circle picture..would see the death of many youngster's unless mesh or pebble's where used..till 4/5 day's old.. The one on the photo are for food , we use a small water drinker with marbles in to start with then the water is on a pipe line when they get bigger
