I know that the lads dog got ripped up, and that's terrible, but that is mainly down to the lack of ability of the usual volunteer idiots they have at these places.

 

I don't think getting a dog put down for being dog aggressive is that fair, or going up to their charity dog show and parading the whippet round trying to convince folk not to adopt any of the dogs from there.

 

Yes, the person in control of the dog was a retard, but for all we know the dog could be known dog aggressive with other males, and that would not put him in an exclusive catagory, and should not mean you strive to stop any dog being adopted from the place, leading to them being destroyed.

 

Personally speaking, and from experience, I may add, I would prefer NOT to run into this type of dangerous dog if it was rehomed to a well meaning menber of the public, perhaps not with the minerals to keep it SAFELY UNDER CONTROL. It has done it before, it must be in its nature, it obviously has not been rehabilitated adequately to make it safe to be out in public. I'd rather my dogs guts remained within my dogs. And before anyone jumps on the anti-BSL soapbox - I wouldnt care what sort of parentage it came from.

yep, cos all dogs get on with all other dogs 100% of the time.
