just asking for your lads opinions on the evo.its in .22 and just like to know the pros and cons i.e,reliability and such cheers atb.

Pros.... It's quite light and compact for a springer and they are beautifully made and finished, also they've got Theoben's name on them if that matters to you. They've got the gas ram of course so a bit less noise and vibration than most springers.

 

Cons... They're not cheap and they've a well deserved reputation for breaking scopes because the recoil from them is very sharp. Also the triggers aren't exactly first class and they're fairly hard to cock.

 

If you're wanting a gas ram rifle, have a good look at the HW90, mate. They're a bit bigger than an Evo and also carry a bit more heft but you'll pick up an equivolent 90 for a fair bit less and they are a much better gun to shoot. Trigger's are first class, much less recoil and for me at least, they handle better but that's a personal thing

Another vote for the hw90, brilliant guns.built to last and I couldnt get mine over the limit so there safe to shoot with any pellet

I have a HW90 in .22 - Advised first - brought many years ago

 

 

 

But understand current ones are giving owners problems - Pity

 

Understand some Dealers will not stock them following unsolved issues
