I don't mind them asking for money. If a person can't afford the pup they certainly couldn't afford the cost of any accident that might happen. I don't see someone with over 10 dogs getting worked properly and to keep pups without giving them any real interaction before selling them just makes it harder for the buyer. That I would say is a main stream peddler. I have had one litter to keep back a pup and sold the rest. I still keep in contact with the owners a year past now.
Catcher 1 639
For me.Its not the buying or selling. Its the poor dog,s that get passed from piller to post.If your selling make sure you know it,s going to be looked after. If your buying make sure its the right dog for the job in hand. And give it the time needed to prove its self.
Attack Fell Terrier 864
i have stated in the origonal post that i have bought in dogs....... i have not always been around the people i am now, so i have had to buy in dogs, the 2 currect lurchers i have here where both bought in, due to the fact i wanted a specific type an none a my mates bred that type......... but does that gee me the right to sell the pups on, if i breed????? ... It gives you the right to do what ever you want to do with your own property IMO. I don't think selling surplus pups out of a litter that you're keeping pups out of is a bad thing, Breeding and telling lies about their background just to earn money is a scumbags manoeuvre though.
