coursing_lad 45
what dogs can you name , which you would class as ' top notch ' back in the day , not bitchs , i want to hear opinions on DOGS that have made an impression both running and producing , i know some dogs will have ran better than they could produce , and also vice versa , can produce better than they ran themselves . boyo 1,398
my opinion is lucky was a superb top animal and very hard to top better than he was he did throw some real good pups young lucky and spinner for 2 but i dont think as good as he was. but maybe thats because he was so good .in all bloodstock it isnt always the best that throws the best a mate of mine owned the top cob stallion in the country years ago went unbeaten for a long time but didnt throw anything of note himself .or anything that came near him . found this happens quite a lot .
