secretagentmole 1,701
We use the Hawke Map Pro reticle scopes, combine that with the free Hawke BRC or Chairgun programs, a chrono and no rabbit is out of reach, well, mostly lol! The combination works well, you get the average FPE for your gun, feed the data in and get a damned accurate range for your gun. The SR reticles work with the software as well. The Hawke scopes are worth the money, speaking as one who owns and shoots with them, well worth it! Good light gathering, can't fault our scopes (have AOs on the Daystates and non adjustables on the .22s)! Taken plenty of rabbits and a pigeon with them! Quote Link to post
barrywhite 282
I just got a JSRTargetPlus 6-24x44 mil dot AO .55 quid delivered .From Ramsbottom on EBAY .It at present is fantastic well worth the money better than and equal to all the hawke scopes I have had.I have had hawke scopes some good some bad .the worst was all foggy .what got me hooked on hawke scopes was the rectal program .You can work the trajectery out better with chairgun and a standard mil dot. secretagentmole 1,701
Chairgun is the other program you can download from Hawke, it has a lot of pellets in the database so it can be even more accurate than BRC! Chairgun Link Quote Link to post

mick.c 3
No problem, I just hope the pellets you use are in the database! hi moley its a bit more difficult to work out than the BRC or is it me still being dumb...lol Quote Link to post
secretagentmole 1,701
It is a bit more difficult but the results are a bit more exact, though to be honest the BRC does seem to work well enough, the Chairgun is better, it just takes a lot of playing with to get the results you like!
