Few bits and bobs for sale -

Recommended Posts

Need some money to get my VFR400 on the road and other things! So have to sell a few of my things unfortunately.

First up is my 2010 Stomp 140 pit bike, probably won't be much interested on here but is worth a try! I bought it second hand from a lad in Bognor Regis named Luke who is good friends with Callan Wood (for those who don't know, Stomp's head mechanic and one of their riders also owns CW bikes in bognor.) Has been quite a few things done to this bike, and has in excess of £1000 (including bike spent on it) It's been well looked after and had oil changed with 10w40 semi-synthetic putoline oil every 12 hours of riding, Never been raced, just rode round the garden and taken to the local mx track for a day of messing about. Good little bike, rarely misses a beat. Some of the eagle eyed thread readers may notice the absence of a spark plug and HT cap, these were put on my old pit bike when that was sold but new ones are on order. Also, the left hand bolt that attaches the bash plate to the barrel is missing, this is due to the thread stripping inside the head, a common problem and can be easily solved with a helicoil kit, only a few quid on ebay. There is also a hairline crack in the bashplate. Anyway - on to the spec;

Had a full engine rebuild shortly before I got it, Callan put a bored out head on and an upgraded high comp piston.

Three angle valve seats, stronger springs (helps prevent valve bounce at higher revs)

6 plate clutch

26mm carb

Uni air filter (brand new)

SR oval exhaust

Race coil, lead and HT cap, iridium plugs.

Brand new Fast ace adjustable shock

High rise BMX bars

SR quarter turn throttle

SR flip back ASV style levers

Twin pot front brake

Talon sprockets

Brand new gear lever.

Bad points - has recently started smoking, could be carb settings slightly out, may just be where its been stood for a while in the garage or could be the valve stem seats all easily and cheaply fixed, I believe Callan was asking £15 for diagnostics and £20 for fitting and labour (or carb tune up)

For this I'm asking £400 O.N.O

Next up - SMK air rifle, not going to big it up - it's had better days, has a cracked stock that has been superglued to prevent it flexible, does not effect accuracy or the gun, I just have to tell you! Comes with a unbranded 4x40 scope with illuminated crosshairs, half a tin of Bisley pest control (100-150 pellets) and a green gun slip. Not really sure what to ask for this so £60? again... offers considered.

(pictures make the crack look a lot worse than it is)

Bit of a weird one now! but you never know, might appeal to someone. Koxx One unicycle bought a while back with upgrades for £320, to some of you this might seem a bit mad... and looking back... it probably was. Anyway, K1 cranks, K1 seat, K1 pedals, CRMO seatpost, and some stickers, which everybody knows make you go faster :tongue2: Got a drilled try-all rim to save weight and upgraded sealed bearings in the cranks. Try-all trials tyre, and basicly allround built for abuse, not that I ever got good enough to give it any, worse this had is a drop down a kerb and a couple of foot drops. Anyway, for this, I'm asking £200 o.n.o

Next - 661 Flight black and gold moto-x helmet, no cracks, scratches or dings only been worn twice (honestly!) comes with orange lens goggles and is a really nice helmet. Nice weight and fits your head nicely, bought it just before last christmas, asking £50 o.n.o I'm pretty sure its size S or M... I'll find out in about 10 minutes!

Finally - 2009 Thor quantum MX boots, again, only worn twice, Really nice condition, offer great support for your ankles and toes, all adjustable clamps so you can get them to fit nicely. Bought them just before christmas for £130 so asking £90 for them, not really desperate for a sale, but I'm willing to consider offers. Oh, theres a two screws missing from the toe plate, but these are easily availably.
