B.P.R 2,798
Nothing wrong with dried cat food if your on a budget. I know it's not got all the right nutrients but I you feed raw meat every day and had the dried kibble as a backup you can't go wrong. Know many people that use cat food. My Jill won't eat anything apart from cat kibble and cat meat. I can't get her to eat anything else, she won't eat raw meat. Got her off a woman that treated her like a baby, she's happy with her cat meat I suppose Fmac- pm sent mate Quote Link to post
Ideation 8,216
The problem with catfood mate, is the protein is actually pretty low, and a lot of it is derived from non-meat sources. It also has a lot of filler in it. Ferrets have very short digestive tracts , hence why the eat a lot, shit a lot, and it smells like it does. For this reason they require a minimum meat derived protein content. Having said that, ferrets can and have survived on all kinds of shit, i.e many lived and worked for years on bread and milk. I still wouldn't feed it to them though! Quote Link to post
B.P.R 2,798
Surely if they are getting meat every day that will substitute for it mate? Your right though, they have survived on all types of shit and it's only in the last few Years people Have realised that it needed to change Quote Link to post
