Saiger 2 Posted July 8, 2011 Report Share Posted July 8, 2011 i go there with my dad after smooth hounds and bass, thats if your on about anderby creek and that area, around chapel st lennards... best if the sea is flattish and coloured, we used peeler crab and black lug and squid as bait, for the smoothies we use small crab baits on a strong 2/0 hook with long traces ... keep an eye on your rod and have your drag set as they go like a train when hooked.. we sometimes get bass on squid or worm fishing close in.. 20 or 30 yds along with flatties and the odd ray.. hope this helps and its not to late for your trip cheers Lee ( my dad hepled me with what to write) Quote Link to post
