Hi, mate.

Don't think you're being ignored or anything like that. The Brocock's not a rifle I've heard any of the lads using so it is just a case of no one who's read your post can help you out.

I'm sure if someone does then they will

Cheers.

if you have a leak on the rifle when filling it would be a good idea to ring brocock and ask how much they would charge for a service .

Depending on how much you paid for it a service will bring it up to spec and it will shoot like new .

If the leak is on the pump you can get a service kit from your local gunsmith as highland outdoors sell service kits for logun pumps and he will probably have an account with them .

Sounds it might be a good idea to get the soapy water out to find where the leak is coming from first , get a mate to apply water mixed with washing up liquid to all connections whilst you are pumping to find where you are loosing air .

good luck .

Right been there, done that got the T shirt time. First thing first, make sure all the connections are tightly done up, sounds stupid but it can be a cause of leaks you know. Secondly make sure the probe is in securely, then pump! If it is a secondhand pump make sure the whip line is good, a bad whip line will leak, no matter how much PTFE tape you use!

Now using a pump, these guys know their stuff, they might be american but trust me, this is the best advice on pump use you will find...

Probably the best pump advice in the world...

let us know how you get on....

right. i have located the leak  it was a loose conection on the whip just behind the conection that goes on to the gun. i have tightened this and after a couple of minutes pumping the gun is sat at 100. i'm leaving this to sit to see if the gun itself is holding the pressure.

after the advice off the link put up by S A M. I find it easy enough to fill with the pump.

now a couple of questions when releasing the conection from the gun it was extremely tight and shot off with a crack like a gun going off  is this normal and if not whats the probem.

how much presser should i pump into the rifle.

thanks for any hep / advice in advance.

ps does anyone else find the loading of this rifle fiddley or is it just me :icon_redface:

i have decided to go back to a good springer and want to swap this for one. but dont want to pass it on unless i'm sure its 100% cheers again :)

There is a knurled nut on the pump, you are supposed to undo that to bleed the air off, have a good look at the pump, here is the one on mine....

Undo this nut, let the air in the pump and whip line bleed out, then remove the whip line. Then do the nut up again ready for use next time! As for pressure, read the guns manual and fill it up to that pressure!
