ratting king 0 Posted June 25, 2011 Report Share Posted June 25, 2011 This Year's Game Show Is On Sunday 26th June 2011 Show Starts 10:00am Archery Have-a-go Run by The St George's Archery Club, horrogate Ashley's Steam Gallopers The oldest showman's steam gallopers in the country still on the road, traditional rides, Dutch street organ etc. Bands City of Leeds Pipe Band and The Nelson Band The Birdman Challenge Sponsored by the Skipton Building Society Castle View Dressage Display Precision equestrian skills, breathtaking high speed trick riding stunts Craft Displays A large craft tent full of crafts people displaying their wares plus hurdle making and coopering, skep making and bushcraft The Craven Old Wheels Historic Vehicle Rally Rally takes place at the show each year & over 200 interesting vehicles are expected to attend. The Girder Forks Club also attend with vintage motorbikes Duck Herding and Sheep Shearing By Philip and Carol Mellin - As seen on ITV's 'The Dales' Falconry Flying Display By SMJ Falconry in the main ring and static displays by Corio Raptor Care Ferret Show Racing Enteries on the day - run by Andy Handley Fisherman's Row Trout fly accuracy competition and salmondistance casting competitions. Tuition in casting - Fly tying demonstrations etc. Fly past by 2 WWII Spitfires At 11:30 from The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, Plus a spectacular aerobatic display Gun Dog Scurry Run by the nationally known dog handler Adrian Slater Heavy Horse and minature Ponies Including decorated horses and those in working gear organised by Phil Boyes and Duncan Jagger The jorvik Viking Encampment The K9 Dog Display Team Displays in obedience, tricks and musical sequences in the main ring Open Clay Shoot Run by Bob Agar of the Yorkgate Gun Club - entries on the day Open Dog Show Enteries on the day - run by Caroline Thornbarrow Parade of Hounds By the Airedale Beagles and the Pendle & Craven hunt Poultry Display Rare and Fancy breeds by Stuart Kay Rare Breeds Display By the rare breeds survival trust (Yorkshire Dales Group) Sponsored by the Yorkshire Agricultural Society Terrier Racing In the main ring run by Simon Smith and team Vinatge Tractors An excellent display organised by Geof Dunn Whippet Show Run by Nigel Wallbank plus live coursing display in the main ring View Classes & Sponsors here..
