Gunner123 103
Cheap dog food, canny believe my eyes! I wouldnt want to be a working dog in any of you lots kennels. Bust my balls in the field to be fed like a cow, fer f**k sake lads wise up. You wouldnt put sub grade fuel into a ferrari would you, theres enough information in this section of the forum to write a book on feeding a mixed varied diet of meats and veggies. Theres lads on here that should speak up a bit more because i know they bite their lip everytime they read this nonsence. Advice is free, take it. Its one of a few things in this day and age that is! its alrite when you can afford rediculass prices for food ive known people pay top money for such food as eukanuba and iams and i know what goes into it and trust it aint the best i put meat in with my food tripe they also get oil such as codliver oil and sunflower oil i also incorperate fish into there i.e trout just because some people feed cheap food dont mean zitch mate. My dads family had a farm in ireland when he was a kid and they had a few coursing greyhounds terriers and collie type dogs they ate the same as the farm animals cows sheep etc it was like a grewl no meat ot all mainly cereal based and those dogs were none stop all day and theyd run on terain that was hard going on them so in my eyes it makes no difference so stick your comment in your pipe and smoke it Next you will be telling me smoking is good for you. B.P.R 2,798
You feed the dogs what you can afford. End of. If that's a £10 bag of wagg or a £45 bag of Jwb then so be it! My pup needs a dairy/gluten/wheat free diet so I've just ordered a bag of harringtons £23 for 15kg. If I had the money that most people on here seem to have then I'd buy james wellbeloved at £8.50 for 2kg! My dad feeds his on dr johns and they look brilliant and that's cheap as chips! Mine will be on that soon as they can with meat

chook1 184
Gunner123 - one of my dogs can not eat raw food, the second he eats it - he pukes it back up, cooking it isnt realy good enough, as you loose a lot when you cook meat, veg etc He's been fed cheap dry food for all his life, he's now 16 - no signs of joint problems going a little deaf and starting to loose his sight, but no other health problems the food cost's me just under 9 quid for 15kg, all my dogs are fed on it, although occasionaly my youngest two will get some raw meat all are in good condition - have energy to burn and never have any health problems, they dont have any gut problems either, my last lurcher was pts at 16/17 as she possably had cancer in her nose cavaty, causeing very bad nose bleeds. not everyone can feed a more natural diet (raw etc) sometimes things gets in the way finances, time etc, the more expencive food isnt always the best, and we all try to do the best with what we can get/afford.
