Thanks for all the replies.   Are there still many 1st cross beddy greys being bred out of decent stuff?   Would a Beddy Whip x Grey make a better all rounder and obviously should throw a smoother

i forgot to mention try if u can to get a smooth coat as from my experiance summer nights blow broken coated dogs ive had a couple over heat luckely managed to save them were as my smooth bitch has done as much work or if not more on the same night and had no problems

Really shame theres not to many of this type about these days beddys compliment the grey bitches around 22 23 plenty input on basic general training aloud to finish of before put to work ,brill little pot dogs with a big heart and easy kept.atb bunnys.

one needs to use the right type of beddy to avoid the linty coat ,woking blood should be sought when breeding the rillington gives a good type and hot summer nights are what they are summer nights .

i am all year round but you have the best nights just after the harvest quote me if i am wrong. yes windy dark winter nights are amazing but i am talking 2 3 in the morning in the summer its still humid and it seams to effect hairy dogs thats all i was saying i have no problem with hairy dogs got two my self but smooth is best for all year round personnaly

have since the second one went down. but all i was stating was a personel appinion the lad asked for advice so thats was i gave him. would u not agree then rather then buy a dog u have to clip every few weeks through the summer a smooth coat that u can get out the kennel and go i may be talking rubbish but it works for me

Can i just say the best and right beddys produce coats that are not linty ,that overheat and also in wet weather become soaked to the skin . The right jacket shoukld keep the dog cool aswell has warm inthe winter mthsseen these linty top notted types more like the poodle coming through in these types atb bunnys.

Talking out your rear end, i have had a heartbreak dog for 10 yrs and never ever had a problem with him over heating, he's as rough ad they come and he needs the chop the end of the season and end of summer, not every couple of weeks, your a typical thl know it all know fuk all. Im speaking from experience not what i think i know like you.

not being cheeky. dont hunt in the summer and you will not have that problem

So bunnys what is all this infomation based on experience? How many litters have you produced of first x's? How many of them have you seen work? How many different lines have you worked to compare this the different types?
