Had to do a bit of remodelling on the kennel as we didnt really have the space but we have squeezed her in. Think she has been kept fastened outside tho as she seems to prefer laying out on the concrete to laying in on the bedding altho the last 2 nights she has gone in and stayed in. Our lass fell for her as she reminds her of the lurcher we had that got poisoned just over 12months ago. I think she would probably get rid of me before the dog now...... :icon_eek:

I am hoping that now she has been in a couple of times that she will carry on going in with the others. Keeping fingers crossed that she will be a good worker but even if she isnt she will be a well looked after pet. Cheers lads

nice looking dog wonder why it was abandoned

We have said the same pal....keep waiting for her to do something that makes us think "ah thats why" but she has been fine. Gets on with the other dogs, doesnt bark, clean in the kennel. Does pull on the lead but we are sorting that out. Doesnt seem to know things like sit, stay, down etc but again that is easily remedied. Not food or toy aggressive. Maybe they just got bored or couldnt afford her anymore but there are better ways of doing it than tying her up imo.

Would post her on dog lost and stuff aswell mate not to uncommon for lurchers to be pinch then moved on to a different county, Gypseys have a habit of nicking dogs running them to death then moving them on once they jack up on them, they call it droping off. She could of been pinched from miles away, then they took her out ran her to death then dumped her. Like said dog lost a good idea might be some poor owner worried sick and like you said there's key markings that only the owner would know

I have checked thru dogs lost and didnt see anything that looked like her....she is only maybe 12-15 mth old and I am guessing the collar she had on was from when she was a puppy as it had obviously been on for some time to have rubbed off the amount of fur that it had and she is very bony so hasnt been fed properly for a while. I think if she had been stolen it would have been some time ago for her to get to that stage.....I have also looked thru lost dog pages on facebook and seen nothing. Also I think the washing line used to fasten her to the post had been used to fasten her in a garden as the clip had squeezed the collar very thin where it was attached. I have also put her on lurcher pages on facebook and heard nothing. I did tell our lass not to get too attached but I dont think she listened.....
