I think people take some stuff too much to heart. Maybe when these folk start a thread there expecting everybody to agree with them, pat them on the back and give them rep points. If you start a thread that you think others might not agree on then stop winging when it doesn't go your own way.

I've been here long enough to notice a real progression in ... um ... knobs, to be blunt. A thoughtful, interesting and honest post on here soon spirals into drivel, with folks quoting up to ten posts

How many people out there are fed up of putting posts up that are ruined by so called fellow hunters?Or in the same breath are holding back from posting because of this.I read posts daily (interesting

its been spoken about many times before, does no good.better not bothering about it to much tbh.just dismiss the sht and get on with it.

i totally agree that some people do go too far...buit it is a forum and everyone is entiteled to their opinion...i just think there are ways to put your opinion across without seeming to bully or put someone down that has a diff opinion to you...thats called a healthy debate...i dont care what people think but id say alot are put off from commenting on posts ..you only have to see the amount of people reading posts compared to the number of comments left to see this. On the other hand some of the light hearted threads are fun sometimes and its good to have a laugh and dont want to loose this.Alot of the people that maybe cause arguments etc are people that post alot and if they left we might not have as many posts etc. I just would like to see an end to some of the really nasty answers that dont do anyone any favours...

Fair enough - if you are offering a point of view or an opinion on something or other I suppose you have to accept that not everyone will agree with you. But I have seen folk looking for advice or simply asking questions only to see their post hijacked and have the piss ripped out of them.

Think its a sad state of affairs when a good genuine decent topic get wrecked by a few Numpties, I've lost count how many times I have tidied up Topics by deleteing posts. its a hard job sometimes expecially if people keep quoteing the same posts! you end up with pages of the same posts quoted over and over again .

some topics definitely invite critiscism and some are put up to be controversial, personally I think somtimes to a degree these sort or topics can be left unless it gets well out of hand, it would be a sad world if we agreed on everything. don't forget? No kicking in the goolies! and No pulling Hair! and please make sure all Handbags don't contain anything heavy :D.

Just a opinion

Agreed. But alot of the time the question seems to be pretty stupid and there will be some folk who've seen this question time and time again and decide to slate instead of give advice. Sometimes advice is given and the OP doesn't take it..... :icon_eek: Thats the ones that go down hill very very quickly.....

I agree that some of the questions are kinda pointless but it'd probably be better if the 'THL veterans' ignored it rather than slate it? I will concede that someone who asks advice, is given decent feedback and then slags the person of is fair game for a slagging. But sometimes decent questions don't warrant the bullshit that follows? ATB mate

Theres some members who post junk on the forum, that offer nothing, no debate, no hunting, no experiences, just cack on every post they make and they jump on other peoples posts and degenerate them... Keep an eye on the ones who you think are spoiling the forum, you as members know just as well as myself, especially if theres numerous people mentioning individual members, they will be removed and we can get things back on track...thats if members are willing to help us..

Right then, constructive comment coming up, The Moderators and Admin cant be everywhere at the same time checking posts and threads right ?, right.

On the bottom left hand side of the screen is a little button marked "REPORT", What if we members who give a shit about this site and what goes on about it ( and there are quite a lot of us hence this constructive thread being started in the first place), if and when we encounter a Knob, dickhead, shitstirrer, peddlar / general arsehole ( sorry IanB for colourfull description of the various catagories, but it's in the interest of the site to mention them all you understand), then , as long as its not a one off , hit the report button and fill in why you think that person needs looking at.

Its not a question of dobbing on anyone, but if we dont start to help the Mods a bit, then this excellent site will end up a shit heap. There endeth the sermon. :big_boss:

Agree totally Bootsha, PM me or report it, genuine problem members, that cause trouble and ruin genuine members threads.
