Spring Gun Bag Rest?

I just wondered what sort of bag rest you would recommend for my HW95.

I have been looking at the ones which are kind of pyramid shaped but with a hollow on the top to take the gun and a seperate rest for the butt, trouble is they only hold the gun 4 1/2 " off the ground.

Otherwise there are the HFT seat/gun rest.

What do you guys use.

Erm a pcp? Sandwell do a good big rest bag...

hi shepp, personally i use anything thar will support my forearm at the right hieght for me, be it a rucksack, a beanbag or currently an austrian army butt pack containing my waterproofs. as long as it keeps you steady then its all good mate

Hi Shepp.

As Wurz says with his suggestions, you don't need much other than a good padded support for your forearm to take the weight of your rifle comfortably through your hand and forearm and allow you a steady aiming platform.. I use a beany seat which stays reasonably put as you shoot off it. A rolled up blanket stuffed into a rucksack is good too.
