No,the latex opium is extracted from the seed pods by scoring with one of those tri-bladed nushtar tools,you cant get any effect from walking through a field of papaver somniferum You can grow opium poppies in the UK without a government licence though your not allowed to extract the latex.A field of poppies always looks beautiful Quote Link to post Share on other sites
