BULLDOUG 199
Seems we got him for a bag of rocks, considering the ammount payed for players of his ability. I think this is a masive signing for the Champions of England, he is a very creative player and will compliment many of his team mates at the theatre of dreams. Great player, great price, great buisness RED ARMY!!
Parabuteos lad 878
unfortunately, he will be good for you's, but thats all-right because liverpool are going to get juan mata
BULLDOUG 199
unfortunately, he will be good for you's, but thats all-right because liverpool are going to get juan mata What i like about Young is, hes English, his first ambition is to lift the 20th title now he knows the history of our country better than any foreign signing, so the hunger and passion is there. 5 year contract should see him a red till the end. Jones now young, great for England IMO. Wouldnt mind seeing Modric land at OT . As for Juan Mata, i think hes a good signing for any of the contenders YIS Dougie

jasper65 6
Youngs a great signing , I rated him in his last outing in a England strip and the way he don't seem fazed by the big occasions! Looks like number 20 coming up next season would also like to see Man U pin down this lad! Alexis Sanchez http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4qoAk5_VZWo&feature=fvst

Alexis Sanchez http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4qoAk5_VZWo&feature=fvst What a player, but hes made it clear he wants Barca, so lets stop the fookin about and wrap the Sneijder deal up ASAP. In a couple of years the fair trade rules will force clubs to play so many National players or be kicked out of europe, by this time Young and Jones will be Champion league players, they will be worth more in a couple of years than they were this week for sure Its good to be red!! Parabuteos lad 878
you cant rap sneijder deal up until the 1st, no chance yous will win number 20 next season
gnasher16 30,472
Im amazed you Manc lads think Young is a good signing.....he,s a good player no doubt and he,ll be a decent addition to your squad...but he,s not world class.......Utd are one of the worlds top sides second only possibly to Barcelona....could you see Barcelona buying Ashley Young ?.....ok we know any player improves when he is playing in good company, but im surprised Utd are not setting their sights higher if they are realistically planning to try and topple Barcelona....but then maybe they,re not trying to
Malt 379
new rules coming in Gnash. Pointless having too many expensive, foreign players in your squad if you can't use them. Can you think of another left sided British player who's as good as him & available? I'd probably only rate Gareth Bale over him, and I reckon you'd be talking about a world record bid being needed to prise him away from Spurs at the minute...

World class in the making, and i think he will slot straight into the side, not like foreign import needing a season or two to gel in. ATB D

I get your point i just think if thats the biggest name Utd sign for next season they are not seriously out to topple Barcelona, win the Premiership yes im sure they will, but according to Fergie their sights were fully set on Barcelona next year. I doubt they would however that may not be the case in a year. Hes served his apprenticeship and now hes gonna bolster a relatively strong left wing, you know yourself a team is about 11 players at the end of the day and i honestly believe other players will look better along side Young. Who could have imagined the impact King Eric would have had?? one player but everyone else arround him improved. United seem to have the purse strings loose this year and are looking at some big names, be nice to see Sneidjer materialise. YIS D

YIS D Fair point.....i guess its one of those situations where you just have to have trust in your manager, and its not like Fergie is a stranger to getting the best from a player....time will tell i suppose, any other manager and you might question it but when its someone like that you can have confidence in any decision however strange it seems at the time.
