bendrover 556
I've only seen one dog jack, not from wanting to not run, it just not having the wind to run any more there legs lock up and start to twitch horribly and they cant even walk, they act like there extremely drunk, this dog was a lithium battery would work on full power all night then just die without any for sure signs she was gonna do it. The last run would be just as strong as the first. Went out with her quite alot. First time it happened the bloke thought he might be able to get it fitter then she already was second time sent to a pet home as there was no excuses. Only dog I've seen jack most keep going but just slow down sounds to me like that dog got hypoglysemia not jacked ,,, its blood sugar has gotten to low for the amount of running that was asked of it.... not evry dog has the same amount of wind in the tank, after all there flesh and blood not machines. Would you say, Tomo, that a fair few people don't know that (sadly) and call a dog a jacker when, in fact, it isn't? proberbly is a lot that dont know,,,esecialy young lads new to it,,, but we all have to lern somwhere,, theres allways a first time for evrybody , and if you aint seen one go over befor, feck it looks scary. "JACKER",, honestly i hate that word,,, befor giving a dog that title i think its important to check evry avenu first,,, there could be any one of a dozen things wrong. agreed tomo, ive had 2 dogs cock and its probably the worst feeling in the world.the first was many years ago.being young i ran this bitch into the ground without ever thinking of fatigue or injury.even when the ground was just too hard to get out this bitch would always piss blood.it turned out she had a tumour in her kidney and she was badly anemic .her kidney was removed and my old man would not let me back out with her for 10 weeks.now she had been pulling up on hares after about a minutes course always comming back knackered.after her 10 weeks rest and then loads of fitness work, took her out for a spin.hare up and the dog ran 40 yards could not feckin beleive it.this kept happening for a couple of weeks.now by this time ive lost the plot, but deep down i knew it was my fault so again i turned to my old man.he gets my mate and his dog goes out and has a day out coursing, the whole time my bitch was kept on the lead,on the last hare and with my bitch straining and pulling i got the shout to slip.she missed that hare but i didnt give a feck.she hammered it all over the place.she never looked back and came back better than ever. the 2nd dog to cock on me simply stopped couldnt be bothered.gave it the benifit, dog out running r,f but on a hare, nah to much effort to catch them.GOODBYE.SO there can be reasons for it like an older dog getting cute over the years and knowing a very strong hare from a good hare then there are just plain cockers atb drover Quote Link to post
