anybody make ferret boxes

ive had a few over the years but by far the best commercially made ones are by dd timber products.

I had a go at making one, it was like a dogs hind leg. My granda just laughed and said it was a waste of time. It was crooked turns out the way I made it (2x sqaure sections with ply connecting etc) the square sections were slightly different heights due to some of the wood being thicker... as a result it was crooked...ohwell ill have to try again another time.

 

Atleast I tried though

Gumtree.com has got some. Or flea bay. If you go to some of the game fairs there will be people selling them there aswell. Or make your own. I mad one with offcuts from b&q. Turned out ok but I'm goin to buy one at the game fairs. Atb

yes it can fit my 2 jills and a hob but having another hob so need a triple box

i tried making one but it was a pain to carry and much heavier than the boxes you can buy

i bought this one from A1 nets supplies for 15 pound and he can post for extra 7 pound hes got his own facebook page could easily fit 3 in it

a lad in are ferret club makes them i will get some prices for you i will take a pic of my 4 one £30

it comes with 2 doors 4 compartment but i made it into 4 doors 4 campartments

i put double hinges on mine £15 for single easy get 2 in or £25 for dbl 2 compartment 2 doors
