gnasher16 30,373
lads i will take 5/1 for a fiver and 10 /1 for a fiver so we on Same here...for whatever money you like at 10/1 odds.............trouble is its highly unlikely to ever happen, just because Khan says he wants the fight dont make it so he,s hardly going to say he doesnt want a crack at the best fighter in the world is he. foxfan 479
Bugger Khan, will Mayweather V Paqciau ever happen ? The promoters and pay per view stifle the fights the fans want to see thes days !
moonlighter 1,164
That's the problem these days. That's why I've got into the UFC. There's only one champion and everybody wants to fight the number one so no dodging each other. Also they seem to fight more often, not once a year like some boxers.
moonlighter 1,164
Saying that I still like a good boxing match. I think haye will win and Khan will beat juda in his next fight.
blan89 159
the worrying thing is if khans genuine and mayweather thinks he can make decent wedge out of this fight i could see it happening.

The promoters and pay per view stifle the fights the fans want to see thes days ! You say that but its no different to what it ever was.....how long did we wait for Hagler - Leonard 6 years ? The superfights always take time to put together....personally i dont think neither Paquiao or Mayweather really want the fight and deep down are probably hoping the other loses meaning they wont meet, kind of a reversed russian roulette
Quinny 100 3
I dont think kharn would of beat hatton never mind may weather, cant see mayweather pacoi fight ever happening, may be mayweather kharn easy pay day for mayweather
foxfan 479
Well its definately more complicated these days with all the different versions, but yeah, its a job to tell, the fighters say they want the fight in public but who knows how they realy feel? I do think paqciau genuinely wants it to happen though.

I do think paqciau genuinely wants it to happen though. I bet in his heart of hearts....he doesnt. These 2 boys are rich enough to not need the fight, they have both established a legendary status within the sport, they both probably realise the only person that could defeat them is each other...........why risk it. That said i think the sport will demand it.
foxfan 479
Well, we will never know what is in another mans heart gnasher, but i spent a good deal of time in the phillipines and i'll tell you this, they dont think like us (maybe we used to) Paqciau has a whole nation hanging on his every move, they are f*****g fanatical about him, for him to lose would mean insurmountable shame. So in his mind he cant lose, if that makes sense? So i dont think he would fear the outcome of the fight. By the way their national sport is cockfighting, and they are fookin mad on that as well ! No he wouldnt have any fear of losing, you dont reach that level of your sport by having fear.....it just makes sense for both of them not to meet, whereas it does to the rest of the world and thats why they probably will fight.....its a shame they are likely to meet when they are both passed their peak. I know he,s some sort of president or something over there.I think you,ll find football and basketball are their most popular sports but yes they are certainly high on the birds in their culture.
