cut off height

yes anything above 22" is a waste ... why would you need anymore over there to hunt rabbit and rat

funny how when you where over here you had one dog under 22" the rest where well over.......think you had a height for every class in a show ring :thumbs: :thumbs: :thumbs:

28 can be a bit too big at times mate but its a good hight for the larger quarry

i dont think so with the height, but i do with the weight, because Bryn is (60lb) alot more agile so with strike+catch, it should show what game is caught.But Tod was never bred to the same job as Bry

25in is spot on for any quarry in th UK :thumbs:

what height did you dog that was going to be a big`en level out at ........

 

 

Bryn 25in 4 in sep, Tod 26in 10 1/2 month old, i dont think he will get much taller maybe 1/2 in , he is 75lb now prob 80lb when fully mature, he is like feckin bullock now :laugh:

do you think there will be situations when tods height will give him a slight advantage over bryn. e.g on certain terrains where you work them.

terrier might of been under 22" but we are on about lurchers here... hosie and alfie (both 24 and half inch) was there when you was buying the terrier dont think i had barney (26") then but not 100% and if you think alfie or barney were rossette winners you need your eyes testing :laugh: hosie has won a few firsts though :thumbs:

 

so back to your original post what lurcher did i have under 22" :D

might be under british rule but we have our own set of laws .... we can still hunt deer and fox with a lurcher and they have took the irish hare off the protected species list so we can hunt them again from october 31st (i think they come back in season then might be the 31st of august)

being my height as advantages when i go to shows ... i can still get in as a child and i can enter the child handling so as to get even more rosettes :thumbs:
