ThomasWalsh 24 Posted June 21, 2011 Report Share Posted June 21, 2011 I have tried everything to fix it changed the bulb, pulled out all the wires out of the handle an there all perfect the switch seems a bit stick but the wires into it seem okay? Iv the thing at the end cut off so it goes straight to the battery so its not the fuse in that and i cant see any breaks in the main wire up to the lamp what else can it be its driving me mad! Iv the thing at the end cut off so it goes straight to the battery so its not the fuse in that and i cant see any breaks in the main wire up to the lamp what else can it be its driving me mad! hi there mate i had the same with mine abit ago now tryed every thing toget it to work and it would not.gid it my mate who is a electircition and within about 20mins it was bk workin it was a break in the wire about 10inch down from the lamp if u no someone who works with elect ask them mate they will have the stuf to test everything on it Quote Link to post
the trunk 2,859 Posted June 21, 2011 Report Share Posted June 21, 2011 A bell tester would tell you if there is a break but I would rewire it with 2 core flex or any old extension lead av done it with both lamps also if it's a dimmer the board goes on them hope it helps Quote Link to post
