weedkiller question

ok i have sprayed the paths and that in my garden,now ive got the weedkiller which says keep pets away until it is dry.which im doing,but does that mean once its dry its ok,cause my mutt has a habit of eating grass.last thing i need is a dog getting poisoned

Dunno mate, I only use it on the front garden path, I don't use it in the back garden because of the dogs.

 

Just keep them away from where you've sprayed until they've withered away.

I also only spray the front, have to do the back using the hoe, old fashioned, but it works!

 

Is it a running dog trait this eating grass? That eejit of mine is always at it too.....

oh he is a nightmare for it.walking along and he darts down to pick up bits of wood and then he is coughing and chocking cause bits are stuck in his throat lol.

I've got 2 springers and a lab and they chew more grass than a bleeding cow :laugh:

If its a glyphosate based weedkiller i.e. round-up or similar then you will be fine after it is dried. I would suggest looking at the packet to see what the main chemical is in it and doing a google search on that.
